Happy Holidays

It has been a fun, but busy past month and a half. We kicked off Thanksgiving day with a turkey trot race. The kids stayed warm and drank hot chocolate while Dave and I did all the work! It was fun, though, and our first race as a family. We've made a couple of trips to downtown Chicago. We went to the Museum of Science and Industry to see their Dr. Seuss and Christmas Around the World exhibits. Then we hit Daley Plaza to watch the lighting of the tree ceremony. Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Santa did the count down. Last week we took the train to Macy's on State Street, where Dave works. We ate by the Great Tree in the Walnut Room, showed the kids Daddy's office, then visited with Santa. The kids are very excited for Christmas, and we are looking forward to spending time with friends and family during our break.
